America First Means Keeping Putin in Check
Protecting America means ensuring Ukraine stays strong enough to stop Putin from expanding his empire and bringing the conflict closer to home.
Vladimir Putin has violated every ceasefire he has signed with Ukraine. Putin doesn’t want peace. He won’t stop with Ukraine. He wants to take over Eastern Europe and rebuild the Soviet Union.
China and Iran help Russia build drones, which Putin has launched into Poland and Romania, both NATO countries. Suspected Russian drones have shut down airports in Berlin, Munich, the Netherlands, Latvia, Norway and five in Denmark.
This could happen in America. And worse.
America has spent tens of billions of dollars to build Ukraine’s military into the largest in Europe - nearly a million people and more than a third of Europe’s military forces. Any peace agreement that limits the size of Ukraine’s military is not America First - it is a waste of American taxpayer dollars.
Peace in Ukraine will last long enough for Putin to rebuild his military and try again, likely when China goes into Taiwan, North Korea goes into South Korea and Islamic terrorists strike.
We will need Europe’s firepower. America will need to recoup its investment in Ukraine. Let’s not give it up to Putin.
Here is a list of treaties Russia has signed. And here is a list of treaties Putin has violated. It is the same list.
Putin has violated or withdrawn from at least 20 international agreements with dozens of countries, including the United States of America.
Additionally, Putin is in violation of at least 25 ceasefires with Ukraine between 2014 and 2021. Most ceasefires were violated by the Russians almost as soon as they were signed. The longest any ceasefire lasted was about four months.
It is difficult to believe that Putin will honor any peace agreement he is a part of.
Putin and his backers in China don’t want peace.
The New York Post reported in July 2025 that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi touted the three-year war for keeping the US focused on Ukraine, claiming that if the war were to end, Washington would start putting its full attention in the Pacific and could enter into conflict with China.
A 2023 study of Chinese political intellectuals by the European Council on Foreign Relations says “By and large, <Chinese> intellectuals agree that China and Russia need to stand together in a joint effort to weaken the US-led international order, a system that both regimes believe presents an existential threat.”
Conversations between leaders of the Ukraine Freedom Project and members of parliament and officials from the defense and foreign policy community in both Finland and Estonia show that both of those countries expect continued aggression from Russia against their countries. Finnish officials don’t say “If” Russia invades Finland but “when.” Officials from the countries closest to the Russian border who have the most information about Russia and the most to lose think they will be invaded next.
Xi Jinping says
he and Putin have a “No Limits” partnership
This “no limits” partnership became public on February 4, 2022, less than three weeks prior to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, in a joint statement available on the Kremlin’s website. It was reaffirmed in March 2023, May 2024, February 2025 and May 2025.
Xi has called Putin his best friend on at least three occasions - June 2018 in Beijing, July 2019 in St. Petersburg and in September 2025 Shanghai and used other terms of affection many times over the years.
Including building drones that Putin is already flying into cities across Europe
Reuters reported in September of 2024 that plants inside China were making drones for Russia - as many as 800 per month. Numerous reports from summer 2025 have found Chinese components in Russian drones that have landed in Ukraine, and in one case a decoy drone entirely made in China.
Most recently, Chinese drone parts supplier Minghuaxin has acquired a stake in Russian drone company Rustakt. A Financial Times analysis of Russian customs records show Rustakt and Santex Plant have combined to import some $400 million in parts from Minghauxin since 2023. Russian customs records show that Rustakt has bought $110 million in lithium-ion batteries, $87 million in motors and $64 million in controllers since 2023. Santext Plant imported $66 million in controllers and $37 million in DC motors.

Ukraine Freedom Project polling from October 2025 asked Republican primary voters the following: As you may know, Russia has sent drones into Poland, Romania, Germany, Denmark, and Norway, which have destroyed buildings and shut down airports. How concerning is this to you?
Some 92% of Republican primary voters were concerned, while 57% were very concerned.
When Republican primary voters were asked How concerned are you that Russia or one of their allies, like China, could attack the United States with drones?
Almost ¾ of Republican primary voters were concerned.
When Vladimir Putin and his axis attack again…
China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are all working together.
In March of 2025, the navies of China, Russia and Iran conducted joint naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman.
North Korea has provided some 8 million artillery shells to Russia as of October 2024.
In August 2023, the Defense Intelligence Agency confirmed Russia’s use of Iranian-made Shahed drones inside Ukraine. Russia now manufactures Iranian-designed drones inside its borders. Data gathered from Russia’s drone attacks on Ukraine are used to improve Iranian designs to be used against Israel.
As noted above, China is taking an active role in Russian drone production.
The first place Hamas leadership traveled after October 7 was Moscow
Vladimir Putin holds summits with Islamic terror organizations who chant “Death to USA” and want to erase Israel from the planet.
Ukraine Freedom Project polling from October 2025 shows that 82% of Republican primary voters agree with the following statement: China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are coming for America and its allies. These four hostile countries are working together to cause chaos in Ukraine, Israel and much of the rest of the world. The world needs America now more than ever to unite our allies and defend free countries who are under direct attack from our enemies.
America is going to need Ukraine’s army -
The largest in Europe – at the ready.
Ukraine has by far the largest and most battle-hardened military in Europe with the most experience in fighting the Russians. With Putin’s well-demonstrated lack of interest in keeping peace agreements with Ukraine or anyone else, he is going to come back, almost certainly in conjunction with China, North Korea, what is left of Iran as well as all the Islamic extremist organizations, drug cartels and the rest of the world’s bad actors.
When that happens, we will need to call upon the multi-billion dollar investment American taxpayers made in Ukraine’s military rather than limiting it by fiat through an agreement with Putin.
Now is the time to stand up to Putin. Good thing we have a president tough enough to do it.
Ukraine Freedom Project polling from October 2025 shows that 84% of Republican primary voters agree with the following statement:
Putin keeps killing Ukrainian civilians and has attacked Poland with 19 Iranian drones. Putin sent drones into Danish and Romanian airspace and sent fighter planes into Estonian airspace. On September 25, Russian fighter planes almost entered US airspace near Alaska. The only way Putin will stop is if Trump makes him stop.
